Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence

Since its opening in 1892, Grady Hospital has been a pillar of metro Atlanta healthcare, collecting milestones such as the first open-heart surgery in Georgia and pioneering integrated care. The Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence partners with patients to provide advanced cancer treatment with some of the nation’s top physicians, including staff affiliated with Emory University and Morehouse College.

Winship Cancer Institute

The Winship Cancer Institute affiliated with Emory University is the country’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Care Center that serves over 17,000 patients annually. According to U.S. News & World Report, Winship offers one of the top-rated cancer treatment curriculums in the country. Through innovative approaches to therapy and treatment, the center has received over $80 million in cancer research funding since 2020 and provides care to nine medical centers across the metro area, including Emory affiliates, Grady Memorial Hospital and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Cancer Wellness

Through early detection, targeted therapies, support programs and more, Piedmont Physicians Medical Oncology Atlanta located off Howell Mill Road provides intown residents with over 25 years of combined experience in the diagnosis and treatment of primary and metastatic cancer. The multidisciplinary team supports patients, as well as caregivers, with a variety of services, including genetic testing, second opinion visits, counseling, targeted therapies, access to support groups, translation services and more.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
